Archons
The Seven Archons
Yaldabaoth (Saturn), Iao (Jupiter), Sabaoth (Mars), Astaphaios (Venus), Adonaios (Sun), Elaios (Mercury), Horaios (Moon) each with a unique power begin to build the Diamond Realm. First, to separate Life from Eternity, the Chinvat Bridge is constructed to connect the Two Realms. The Bridge would allow access to Life at five distinct points each relating to four Cardinal Directions (North, South, East, West) and one for the Center. The Archons are referred to as the Amesha Spentas in the South.
Iao's power was the power of mind and sight (Clairvoyance), she would see the Realm inside of her and the architecture of the world for the other Archons to follow. She created the form for creatures and for the vessels. (Asha in the South)
Astaphaios' power was manipulation and changing of matter (Construct), who would create the materials to be used for the Realm. She then created theelements used for vessels of the Aeons. (Armaiti in the South)
Yaldabaoth's power allowed for great strength and physicality (Barrier), he began to put the Realm together and till the earth tirelessly. He then built the vessels for the Aeons. (Called Kshathra Vairya in the South)
Sabaoth's power was for energy and force (Destruct), He imbued the Realm with energy and impulse to be used for life and lit the Stars. He then tempered the vessels creating the necessity to consume for energy.(Mithra in the South)
Adonaios had the power of growth (Panacea), who began by instilling the world with the ability to grow stronger and to change as necessary. He created the Sun then allowed the vessels of the Aeons to reproduce so the vessels could be self sustaining. (Ameretat in the South)
Elaios' power was that of movement and space (Shifting), he would be the one to allow for movement using the energy that had been given to the world. He then granted the vessels human emotions to drive them. (Haurvatat in the South)
Horaios would alter and halt growth (Seal), by changing the seasons and allow it to decay. She then created the Moon and the impulse to return to Eternity just as day turned to night. This was the Monad's way for the world to feel the pain of beauty by making it ephemeral and fleeting. (Atar in the South)
The Demiurge, an Aeon like Sophia, constructed the Phoenix Gate and placed it in the Sun. This was the Gateway to send willing and devoted Aeons that wished to experience Life into a newborne vessel. Through the Phoenix Gate, they became Souls able to inhabit the vessels created by the Aeons. Devoted and honorable Souls would be sent through the Phoenix Gate as a privilege. The good and beauty and pleasure and emotion of the Monad was to be experienced by them.
