Anahita (IN PROGRESS)
Queen of Rathsambahva
Anahita has led a coup of the kingdom and has now become the new queen of Shrimat and by extension, the whole of Rathsambahva. The guards are now free to either remain with her new regime or leave. Most find that they would remain and she requires them to pledge their allegiance to her. She requests that a message be sent for her Farsee to come to Shrimat when they finish rebuilding the village. As the new Crimosn Queen, she appoints Simon Perish as her Royal Advisor. She then decides that she will begin amassing the power to continue with her goals. She knows that she will need Seven Divine powers to become the Sealing Maiden before she can destroy Eternity. She has obtained her first.
As the Queen, her first order is to seek out Champions in the area worthy of her cause and bring them before her to investigate their powers. Champions are called the Asuras in the East and are still feared, unlike the West. She will either take any Divine Powers of the Asuras for herself, using Amaris, or Simon will create an Artifact to replicate any useful powers.
Simon begins to reproduce his research on Empowered Artifacts but fails to replicate a Resonating Artifact that he once used to amplify powers. Several Asuras in the area are brought before Anahita. She offers the physically capable to join her Empire and become soldiers for her. She invites them to become part of her regime and pledge an oath of servitude to her. Though none possess the Divine Powers that Anahita requires, she does find some use for them. There is one Asura that wishes to join her as her Champion. The Asura named Nawa Rupa, has Hypersensitivity and can sense things others can't. She is the first Champion after Simon to become part of the Queen's Guard.
Anahita's goal is to find the means to obtain the powers of the Sealing Maiden and begins to scour the kingdom in search of them. She rules Rathsambahva for a time but ultimately desires to move west toward the broken capital of Meridian now known as Ennoia. Simon tells her that the Capital was ruled by her for some time but after the Empire fell, Meridian was taken over by the neighboring Kingdom of Ennoia. It has since been in disarray and does not hold much sway over other Kingdoms.
The Kingdoms of the West now each have a High Champion as a display of their power, a trend that Anahita started many years earlier. The current High Champion of Ennoia has the ability to Shift himself and objects to any location. He is known as the Ennoia Catapult . Anahita recognizes this power and believes it is one of the powers of the Archons.
She tells Simon of another power that she needs that is a power of healing. Simon recognizes this as his own but does not tell Anahita that he possesses one of the Seven Divine Powers. The High Champion of Ennoia does have one and she desires to begin their campaign to head northwest and take the power for herself. However, the Kingdom of Amitabha is between Ennoia and Rathsambahva. Simon complies and he prepares her company to first overtake Amitabha where the ruling Sukvati Dynasty there controls Water.
Conqueror of Amitabha
There is a time skip here that will cover the overtaking of Amitabha and Anahita being appointed as the new ruler of the Sukvati Dynasty as well. The Queen of Cascades pledged her loyalty to Anahita and the Sukvati Dynasty is assimilated into Anahita's New Empire. It is here that they will make preparations to begin their conquest of Ennoia and overthrow the Kingdom there. Simon has begun to create Empowered Artifacts containing the powers of currently known Champions.
The powers include Hypersenitivity from Nawa Rupa, Telekinesis from Anahita, and now Aquamancy from the Queen of Cascades. Anahita refuses to replicate Construct as she sees it as a Divine Power that she alone should have. These Artifacts are given to the soldiers of Anahita's Empire though the rest are sealed away somewhere in Amitabha that becomes known as The Archive. It houses hundreds of Artifacts that contain powers.
The time skip ends as they are making preparations for the overthrow of Ennoia. It is around this time that Ardashir has finally heard news of the Crimson Queen who has overtaken the Kingdom of Amitabha. He recognizes that this is the Demon that he has been searching for, the Angra Manyu. Ardashir and William then make their way to Amitabha to confront the Angra Manyu.
Welcoming the Saoshyant
Ardashir and William arrive at the capital of Sukvati and begin to seek out information about the new Empress including any information that they can use to defeat her. Anahita is quickly informed of these men that have begun to ask questions and she sends Simon Perish to investigate. Simon introduces himself as Edward Crowley and informs them that the Empress has requested an audience with them.
Ardashir and William are taken before Empress Anahita. Simon takes his place by her side during the meeting. Anahita sits on a black marble throne. Crowley stands to the left of her and the woman Nawa Rupa stands to the right. Guards are posted at each pillar that run down the sides of the Throne Room. She has been informed that these two have been asking questions about her and of her inner workings of the Empire she has built. She asks about them and William speaks that he is the Crimson Crusader, a traveler that helps others. Anahita has not heard of him.
She has heard that they have been asking questions about her regime and would like to know what has sparked that interest. At this, William says that they would like to join her Empire as Champions. Nawa Rupa whispers to her that he is lying. Anahita is intrigued by this.
Anahita throws them each a gold coin, telling them to pick them up. William thanks Anahita but he insists that he is not there for a handout. Anahita quiets him and tells them both to pick up the coins. They do so and they both begin to glow. She confirms that William was not lying about being a Champion but tells him that he is still being dishonest. She asks them Ardashir says nothing. She uses Telekinesis to return the coins to her and tells them that she allows Champions the opportunity to be part of her organization if their power is useful. She then states that William is lying about why they have come to Amitabha and Ardashir has lied about his name. He stands and claims he is no servant. At this, Ardashir then states that he will oblige and demonstrate his power.
He begins to walk toward her throne and the guards take out their weapons, ready to attack. William puts on his mask and ten Crimson Crusaders appear. They surround Ardashir and each begin to hold off one of the guards. Nawa Rupa slowly begins to walk down the steps of the altar that the throne sits on. She has already seen through his Illusion but does not know where the real Ardsashir is. Ardashir begins to speak, stating that Anahita is the Angra Manyu that will attempt to destroy the world. He is here to cleanse that evil and send the Daeva within her back to the Womb Realm.
Simon draws his sword and attempts to walk toward him but Anahita stops him. She knows that she cannot be harmed by Exorcisms. Ardashir prepares the Ahuna Vairya spell on his hand, citing the incantation as it begins to glow. Nawa Rupa walks right past him and to one of the Crimson Crusaders. She attacks him with a claw and subdues him. She then states for Ardashir to show his true self or William will die. William says for him to just finish the Exorcism but Ardashir ends it. The ten Crimson Crusaders disappear, as does Ardashir.
Ardashir then appears from behind a pillar and walks into the middle of the room. Anahita claps that she is impressed by his Illusion and gives him applause. She laughs amusingly that the first assassin of her new reign has now shown himself. She then commands that Nawa let William go and lets Ardashir aproach the throne. He does so and she tells him that she wishes for him to complete his Exorcism and cleanse the Angra Manyu from this world. He hesitates and she motions to Nawa who attacks William, cutting him down the back. Ardashir becomes enraged and prepares his Exorcism tattoo again, citing the incantation as he thrusts his palm on Anahita's brow. It doesn't faze her at all but Simon intervenes, knocking Ardashir off his feet and down the steps.
As he recovers, Anahita pushes Simon away and stands from her throne. She walks down the steps and smiles a gloating smile at Ardashir. She says that such things no longer work on her. She has outgrown the need for a vessel. She then says that he has no chance of sending her back to Eternity and he didn't come come close to defeating her. She shows that there have been swords hanging above them for some time. She had held them there with Telekinesis. She then moves the swords around Ardashir, taunting him. She is toying with him however, and she returns the swords to the wall behind her throne.
Anahita says that this has gone on long enough and tells Simon Perish that they are too dangerous to be kept alive. She clearly states his name to imply that she knew Ardashir was lying since Crowley is the real Simon Perish. At this realization, Ardashir begins to snap out of his stupor. As Simon readies his weapon, Ardashir pulls off his coat and throws it into the air. It turns into a flock of white doves that flutter about Simon, distracting him enough to see that Ardashir has disappeared. The ravens then fly through a nearby window. Nawa Rupa attacks William who turns into a sword. It had been wedged into the floorboards with the Crimson Crusader's mask on the handle. She claims that she no longer senses their presence. Anahita stares incredulously, stating what a shame it is.
She asks Simon and the woman to find them as they could pose a threat if they were to become involved with John Noble. The woman leaves at once but Simon stays and asks her if what the assassin said had any truth. This is the first he has heard of any mention of her destroying the world. She at first ignores the question but as Simon begins to leave, she simply states that she does not intend to destroy this world. What she is doing is for the benefit of a great many people and she does not expect him to understand. Simon says nothing.
Shifting of Ennoia
There will be another time gap that will be necessary to coincide with the ages of John Noble and the Ecliptics. Four more years will pass after her confrontation with the two assassins. Anahita will have begun her takeover of Ennoia which will spread her Empire through much of the South East and now part of the West. Ennoia is nearer to the center of the map but is considered part to of the West. The nation of Meridian had once served as the center of Anahita's reign and the Capital of her Empire decades earlier.
When she died, the neighboring Kingdom of Ennoia had taken over the Meridian government. The new Kingdom of Ennoia was now made up of those that accepted the new regime of Ennoia or those Meridianns that were still loyal to Anahita even after her assassination. The people of Meridian became divided among their loyalties. Ennoia was smaller but relatively more wealthy than Meridian, enough to have a High Champion that possessed the Shift power. Anahita had recognized this power years prior as one of the Divine Powers. This is the main reason that she had come to conquer it, she needs the power as her next step to becoming the Sealing Maiden.
Anahita's forces had easily infiltrated the Kingdom thanks to the Empowered Artifacts created by Simon Perish. These gave each of her soldiers a unique power but could only be used once per Artifact. The Artifacts created with the powers of Telekinesis, Hypersensitivity, and Aquamancy. Though Artifacts are single use, Simon had created hundreds over the span of 4 years since they conquered Amitabha. Despite requiring several materials and a knowledge of Alchemy, the main components were a number of metals and blood from a Champion. The soldiers were given several of each Artifact which were usually metal bands on their equipment. The Artifacts were chiefly used to enhance what was already a powerful military force.
Upon their arrival into Ennoia, an Asura named Velu came to Anahita stating that she belongs to the original Meridianns and wishes to rejoin her Empire. The woman Nawa Rupa, who is capable of detecting lies speaks of her sincerity and senses that it is not the assassin that was with the Crimson Crusader years earlier. Anahita is at first skeptical but Velu claims that she knows the weakness of the High Champion of Ennoia. Velu's power is that she can change her face at will and Morph into another form.
The city defends against the attack but the High Champion is subdued despite his mastery of the Shift power. He is called the Ennoian Catapult. He alone was able to defeat much of her forces but succumbed to several weaknesses that Anahita exploited thanks to Velu. They took advantage of this to bind his hand to the ground. With his hand bound, he risked losing it if he Shifted his location. Velu was true to her word.
After the city was taken, it became known to Anahita that the Ennoian Catapult is part of the Champion Coalition. This Catapult, named William, stated that John Noble and his group had spent 9 years establishing the Champion Coalition to promote peace within the Four Kingdoms of the West. He claims that word will soon reach Veiland and the Coalition will band together to come and restore order to reinstitute the rightful King.
They also have a strike team called the Ecliptics. The Ecliptics are a very effective and tactical group that has studied Champions for nearly a decade. Under John Noble's leadership they can beat Anahita's forces. Simon suggests that they do not take this lightly and they should meet in private to discuss a plan. Anahita agrees but first asks Amaris to relieve William of his power, he has no more use for it. Amaris is older now and kisses William to take his power. She then kisses Anahita's hand and Anahita Shifts across the room to test her new power. She now has two Divine Powers to become the Sealing Maiden.
Simon and Anahita meet with the Queen's Guard to discuss the matter of the Ecliptics. He is secretly very nervous about being involved with any matters of with Veiland as he knows Aletheia, his daughter, is the Princess of the Kingdom. He
The final confrontation of the past arc will involve Donofrey Anahita and Ardashir and will result in Anahita taking Donofrey's power of Barrier and becoming invulnerable. It will take place somewhere near the Moon Shrine, possibly outside of it, as Donofrey will have taken John there to be imprisoned, something he sees as justification for his own 10 year imprisonment.
It will involve him finding out that Anahita is intending to use the Champion Power Codices to track down and arrest Champions for her own use.
